He is back!
Don Peluso, A.K.A. Mr. Sinatra will be back singing the songs "Old Blue Eyes" and the rest of the "Rat Pack made famous.
Peluso, has been missing from time to time from his regular gig at SHWB&G on the weekends.
Rummor has it Don has been channeling or trans-communicating with the old "Rat Pack " doing their shows at the old Flamingo casino out on the strip.
There are alleged reports of 6 foot 6 inch show girls wearing pink feathers, and nothing but pink feathers, keeping the "Rat Pack" company.
That is why Peluso has been doing his trans-communicating.
It was a real "plucking" show.
In the real world, Peluso reportedly sat down with Anthony Fideleo, the Capo de Capo of the restaurant and agreed that he should do a New Year's Eve show at the restaurant.
It will probably start between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
I am sure Fideleo and staff will put together a special menu for the evening and there will probably be other specials available for those who choose to attend.
Peluso has his own following of friends from the Greater Bridgeport area that will arrive to show their support.
Peluso has that nice easy Sinatra style and there are reports "Dino" and "Sammy" may also add their vocal talents to the event.
Before the idiots from the town start making comments I receive NO, NOTHING, NADA consulting fees from either the Capo or from Peluso.
I just happen to think Peluso is a nice guy.
It's going to be a real cold night New Year's Eve.
I worked New Year's Eve in the city and Time Square.
Unless you are under 30-years-old, love crowds, have a strong ability to hold your water while keeping one hand on your wallet, stay out of Times Square, if the cold does not get you the drunk/mugger might.
To all of the professional NYFD Firefighters, Emergency Medical folks and the members of the best police department in the world, NYPD, have a safe New Year's Eve night.
For all others, it is a good night to stay close to home and make a reservation at the SHWB&G restaurant and listen to good music that will not fracture your ear drums.
Depending on certain issues that needed to be resolved between now and New Year's Eve, there is a possibility I may be sitting at the bar listing to the songs of Sinatra to bring in the New Year.
