‘Stabbing Victim’ Admits He Fell and Was Injured While Leaving Bar: Report
Stratford Police began investigating a reported stabbing and robbery case, but the 'victim' later came clean with what actually happened.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford Police began investigating a reported stabbing and robbery case early Wednesday morning, but the “victim” later admitted that he had actually fallen and hit his head while he was intoxicated and leaving a bar, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the 61-year-old man came clean with what actually happened while talking to police at the hospital.
Police told the Post that the man isn’t likely to be charged in the incident because a neighbor called it in after he had said he was stabbed and was possibly hit from behind.
