Stratford 2015 Election Guide: The Candidates, Polling Places, Sample Ballots

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3 and here's some of the information you'll need to know.

Stratford voters will head to the polls for a municipal election on Tuesday and decide key races along with the referendum on the sale of the town’s sewer system facilities to the Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority.

Voters will decide races for Town Council, Board of Education, Constables, Planning Commission, and Zoning Commission.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:

  • District 1A:-- 245 Crown Street
  • District 1B:-- 1000 West Broad Street
  • District 2:-- 719 Birdseye Street
  • District 3:-- 45 N Parade Street
  • District 4A:-- 1895 Barnum Avenue
  • District 4B:-- 719 Birdseye Street
  • District 5:-- 396 Nichols Avenue
  • District 6:-- 150 Lincoln Street
  • District 7:-- 600 Wilcoxson Avenue
  • District 8:-- 380 Chapel Street
  • District 9:-- 1 Bulldog Boulevard
  • District 10:-- 65 Second Hill Lane

Residents will vote Yes or No on the following question:

“Shall Stratford become a member (constituent municipality) of the Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority, thereby transferring management and operations of the Stratford Water Pollution Control Authority, through the sale of all sewer system facilities, real property, and assets to GNHWPCA?”
