Stratford Bus Driver Charged With DUI After Crash: Report
The school bus driver is accused of operating under the influence when he crashed into a FedEx van with 26 students on board in January.
STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford school bus driver is accused of operating under the influence when the bus he was driving, which was carrying 26 middle school students, crashed into a FedEx van earlier this year, according to police.
Harold Bolling, 64, of Stratford, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the Jan. 12 crash on Main Street in Stratford. He was charged with 26 counts of risk of injury to a child, second-degree reckless endangerment, and operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
He was being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond with a court date of April 11, according to state judicial records.

Police said the crash happened Jan. 12 in the area of 3241 Main Street when Bolling was driving a school bus with 26 students on board.
During the crash, the school bus struck a FedEx truck and subsequently came to rest on the lawn of 3241 Main Street, according to police.
