STRATFORD, CT — The 2019 municipal election is heating up in Stratford and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Bill Perillo is running for the Town Council's Seventh District as a Republican. Perillo is a retired Stratford police officer and currently represents the Seventh District.

Life long resident. Served as a Stratford police officer for 25 years.I feel I know the community better than most

Public safety. Keeping first responders current in training. Update equipment. Getting them involved in the community
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I've been on the council for the last term. We ran on civility. We all worked together with the mayor. Didn't always agree but we were all professionals with the towns concerns foremost

Just be good to people. Be understanding
