Stratford Coronavirus Update: 17 Deaths, 297 Confirmed Cases

STRATFORD, CT — A total of 17 Stratford residents were reported to have died after contracting the new coronavirus as of Wednesday, according to an email from the mayor's office, which said there were 297 confirmed cases in town.

Across Connecticut as of Wednesday, there were 14,755 total confirmed cases, 868 of which had resulted in a patient death, according to state data — an increase day-over-day of 766 cases and 197 fatalities.
