Stratford Coronavirus Update: 3 More Deaths, 21 New Cases
Deaths and confirmed cases rose Thursday in Stratford, but virus hospitalizations declined statewide for the eighth day in a row.
STRATFORD, CT — Three additional deaths associated with the new coronavirus were reported Thursday by the mayor's office, bringing the total number of Stratford residents who had died after contracting the virus to 45.
There was a day-over-day increase Thursday of 21 confirmed cases in town, Mayor Laura Hoydick said in an email to residents, bringing the total number of Stratford cases to 547.
Connecticut as of Thursday had 27,700 total confirmed new coronavirus cases, 2,257 deaths and 1,650 hospitalizations. For the eighth straight day, hospitalizations declined Thursday in Connecticut.
