Stratford Coronavirus Update: 32 Confirmed Cases In Town

STRATFORD, CT — There are 32 confirmed cases of new coronavirus in Stratford as of Tuesday, according to an email from the mayor's office. The town reported a total of 27 confirmed cases Monday, indicating Tuesday yielded five new confirmations.

The ages of the patients are as follows:

  • Under 20: 1
  • 20-29: 3
  • 30-39: 3
  • 40-49: 10
  • 50-59: 8
  • 60-69: 2
  • 70 - 79: 3
  • Over 80: 2

Statewide as of Tuesday, there were 3,128 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, an increase of 557 cases day-over-day, according to state data. The number of deaths connected to the virus nearly doubled Tuesday when 33 new deaths were reported across the state, bringing Connecticut's fatality total to 69 deaths, state data said.
