Stratford Library Children's Department Getting Major Renovation
The children's department has been temporarily relocated to allow for the renovation.
STRATFORD, CT — The children's department at the Stratford Library has been moved while the area undergoes a major renovation, the first since 1981, according to the Stratford Library Association. The area will reopen mid-April.
In the meantime, the department will be temporarily located in the library’s Lovell Room with children’s materials and programs available in limited capacities. State-of-the-art technology, flexible programming space for both traditional and STEAM activities, and an ADA-compliant restroom and nursing station are all included in the renovation plans.
Hours for the children’s department will remain unchanged (10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday) with a few exceptions. For more information, visit stratfordlibrary.org.
