Basic Assistance on E-Readers, Tablet Computers, iPods, MP3 Players
Due to popular demand, the Stratford Library will continue its series of invaluable workshops designed to help adults learn about new technologies and applications currently on the market. “Technology Sandbox" will include basic assistance dealing with the use of E-Readers, tablet computers, MP3 players, iPods and more. The Library’s professional staff will conduct the workshops scheduled through 2014.
They are free and open to the public. Patrons are invited to bring their e-readers, iPods, smartphones, laptops or mobile devices for instructions on their capabilities and to discover how to download library materials for free.
Open sessions will be on the following schedule, first-come, first-served:
• Wednesday, March 12: 1-3 pm
• Thursday, March 20: 2-4 pm
• Friday, March 28: 10 am-Noon
• Tuesday, April 1: 2-4 pm
• Monday, April 7: 10 am-Noon
• Thursday, April 17: 2-4 pm
All sessions will be held in the Stratford Library Lovell Room. No reservations are necessary.
