Stratford Man Arrested in Connection with Food Delivery Robberies

Drivers from China House Restaurant and Domino's Pizza were robbed at gunpoint in March.

A Stratford man was arrested Thursday in connection with the armed robbery of two food delivery drivers — one from China House Restaurant and one from Domino’s Pizza — in March, according to the Connecticut Post.

Daquon Alston, 21, of General Street, was arrested on charges of two counts of first-degree robbery and was held in lieu of $75,000 bond, according to the Post.

The Post reports that in both cases the restaurants received calls for the deliveries to be made to an address on General Street where the drivers were both confronted by several men wearing hooded sweatshirts and robbed at gunpoint.
