Stratford Man Who Threatened Police Arrested: Milford Police
The accused invoked ISIS and has been charged with one count of an act of terrorism, police say.
MILFORD, CT — A Stratford man, Miguel Silva, 31, of Stratford Avenue, has been charged and is accused of threatening police officers while invoking ISIS, Milford Police said.
Silva was arrested on Jan. 23 on a warrant. Police said on Jan. 19, Silva entered into a common hallway of a River Street apartment complex and left threatening messages, “ISIS we will kill cops!” “Milford Police Stratford Police ISIS you got our guy in Shelton this is the beginning,” according to police.
Threatening messages were also left on an additional River Street buildings stating, “Declare war
against police ha ha ha ha ha” and “ISIS will blow up the Milford police station run my prints
pigs!! I’m smiling for the camera yes I am,” according to police.

Silva was charged with first-degree harassment and threatening, second-degree breach of peace, and an act of terrorism.
Silva is being held on $50,000 bond and will appear in Milford Court on Jan. 24.
