Stratford Teen Enters Plea In Milford, West Haven Fires
One of the teens accused of setting the fire that destroyed the Shakespeare Theater has entered a plea in connection to several other fires.
STRATFORD, CT — One of the Stratford teens accused of setting the fire that destroyed the Shakespeare Theater has pleaded not guilty to three other fires — two in West Haven and one in Milford, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Vincent Keller, 18, who previously pleaded not guilty to the Shakespeare Theater fire, was in court Tuesday in connection to the fires in West Haven and Milford. Keller and classmate Christopher Sakowicz, 18, were both arrested last month in connection with the vandalism and fire that occurred at the construction trailers at Silver Sands State Park in Milford on March 24. They have not been charged with the fire that destroyed three buildings under construction at Silver Sands on March 19.
The teens have also been charged in connection to two arson fires in West Haven in February — one at a vacant home on Richards Place and the other at the former Bilco Door Company, along with the January fire in a vacant building at the Southbury Training School and a fire at Good Earth Tree Care on Longbrook Avenue in Stratford that destroyed a truck last month, according to the Post.
