Stratford Woman Stole $4,300 From Business: Milford PD

The accused was charged on a warrant this week, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Stratford woman who was working as an employee at a Milford business is accused of stealing more than $4,000 from the business, police said.

On Oct. 2, Milford Police took custody of Amanda Hazel, 35, of Bowe Avenue in Stratford in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.

Hazel is accused of taking about $4,300 from Rue 21, 1201 Boston Post Road, between March and April while working as an employee there, police said. She is also accused of taking over $240 worth of merchandise from the store during this time frame, police said.

Hazel is charged with third and sixth-degree larceny.
