STRATFORD YMCA HOSTS 18TH ANNUAL SWEETHEART RUN

All Proceeds from the February 8th Race Benefit the YMCA Annual Campaign.

On Saturday, February 8, 2014, the Stratford YMCA, a Branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA, will host its 18th Annual Sweetheart Run at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford.  All race proceeds benefit the Stratford Y Annual Campaign. 

The Sweetheart Run is a four mile running course and a three mile walking course.  Everyone in the community can participate; seasoned runners, seniors, families and youth.

Run or walk for your community!  The Stratford Y Annual Campaign provides scholarships for individuals, families and children to participate in Y programs.  All funds raised support the Stratford Community.   

“When you support the Stratford Y Annual Campaign, you are helping everyone in Stratford experience the Y and strengthening our community,” says Tim Bartlett, District Executive Director.  “Our community is facing new challenges, everyday, that create a greater need than ever before for the work the Y does.  We see opportunities with your help for us to make a difference.”
