STRATFORD, CT — Stratford-based Two Roads Brewing Company announced this week it was getting into the martini game with a new line of vodka-based canned craft cocktails.

Two Roads Brewing Co. unveiled its new Nightshaker Espresso Martinis on Wednesday.

“At 12% ABV, Nightshaker Espresso Martinis are crafted with vodka and real cold brew coffee,” according to a news release. “The martinis are the third spirit-based product released under Two Roads Distilling Co., the distilling arm of the famed brewery that launched last year helmed by Two Roads Master Brewer Phil Markowski.”

After spending two years learning the art of craft distilling, Markowski and his team released the first products under the Two Roads Distilling Co. banner in 2022, a small batch vodka and London dry gin.

“While we’re beer people first and foremost, we never shy away from learning and trying our hand at something new,” Markowski said. “Espresso martinis are delicious to drink, but they’re a hassle to make… ask any bartender ...so we wanted to give our fans a great-tasting and easier way to enjoy them. Our take on the espresso martini is 100% Two Roads, crafted with highest-quality ingredients, a bold yet balanced taste, and an invitation to try something unexpected from us.”

Nightshaker Espresso Martinis are the second vodka-based canned cocktail line from the Connecticut-based brewery, joining its line of popular Daybreaker craft cocktails all made with 100 percent real fruit juices and sparkling water. All of Two Roads spirits, canned cocktails, hard seltzers and limited-edition beers are developed in its innovation-focused Area Two Experimental Brewing facility, according to the news release.

The new line of espresso martinis will be available at Two Roads Brewery and retailers throughout Connecticut starting in March for $16.99 per 4-pack.
