STRATFORD, CT — Police have identified Richard Pugh, 32, of Stratford, as the victim of a fatal one-car crash on Broadbridge Avenue near Success Avenue on Sunday, Sept. 16. Pugh, the lone occupant of the car, was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment but died from his injuries on Sunday night, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Eannotti said Pugh was driving his car south on Broadbridge Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and it left the roadway and struck a tree. Investigators are working on determining the cause of the crash, according to Eannotti.
