The Watermark at 3030 Park Hosts "Circle of Love" Bereavement Support Group

Reverend Dr. Rosundé Cummings Nichols will lead a bereavement support group for coping with loss

On Monday, August 17, The Watermark at 3030 Park will host “Circle of Love,” a bereavement support group for people coping with the loss of a loved one. The group will meet at 2:00 p.m. at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line.

The meeting will be led by Reverend Dr. Rosundé Cummings Nichols, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry, who serves as a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Counselor. The group is designed to provide an outlet for people dealing with the loss of a loved one, where they can share their thoughts and feelings in a compassionate and respectful setting. The meeting will also include helpful strategies for coping with loss in everyday life.

“We hope members of the community and residents alike take part in this opportunity,” said Marlane Argianas, Community Life Assistant at the Watermark at 3030 Park. “Grieving is difficult enough to endure on your own. Rosundé offers this group so that any person who has lost a loved one may find their way to healing in this confidential and supportive atmosphere.”
