The Watermark at 3030 Park Hosts "Circle of Love" Bereavement Support Group
Reverend Dr. Rosundé Cummings Nichols will lead a bereavement support group for coping with loss
On Monday, September 21, The Watermark at 3030 Park will host “Circle of Love,” a bereavement support group for people coping with the loss of a loved one. The group will meet at 2:00 p.m. at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line.
The meeting will be led by Reverend Dr. Rosundé Cummings Nichols, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry, who serves as a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Counselor. The group is designed to provide an outlet for people dealing with the loss of a loved one, where they can share their thoughts and feelings in a compassionate and respectful setting. The meeting will also include helpful strategies for coping with loss in everyday life.
“Rosundé offers residents and members of the community a chance to join together, rather than grieve alone,” said Kristin Butler, Executive Director at The Watermark at 3030 park. “In this confidential setting, any person who has lost a loved one may continue on their path of healing with the support of the community around them.”
