The Watermark at 3030 Park Invites Public to New Art Exhibit

Exhibit features the work of residents Sue Chrien, Mary Woodin and Adele Waife

The Watermark at 3030 Park is pleased to announce that artwork from residents Sue Chrien, Mary Woodin and Adele Waife is now on display at the senior living community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line.
The new, untitled collection will feature pastels and acrylics inspired by nature, and the artists’ love of travel and exploration.
Adele holds a BA and MFA and is a member of the Mamarneck Artist Guild. A resident of The Watermark since 2012, her work has been featured in exhibits throughout Fairfield County.
Mary has no formal art training, however she spent 40 years teaching flower arranging, a skill that that serves as great inspiration for her.
Sue not only loves to create art, but loves to teach it at well. She serves as an instructor for many of the art classes at The Watermark, including ones that Adele and Mary participated in. A native of Ohio, she holds a BA from Kent State University and a Master’s in Art History from Western Reserve University.
“We are so excited to feature the work of not one, but three of our amazing resident artists,” said Marlane Argianas, Resident Services Coordinator at The Watermark. “All three of these women are outstanding artists and excellent examples of how our residents continue to grow, thrive and pursue their passions each and every day.”
This exhibit will be on display throughout the month of June. It is free of charge and open to the public from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, please contact The Watermark at 3030 Park at 203-574-5611.
