Woman Charged With Running Drug Factory: Stratford Police

A 15-year-old was also charged.

STRATFORD, CT — A woman and a 15-year-old are charged in connection with an investigation of narcotics sales and gun crimes in Stratford, according to police. Stratford's Narcotics, Vice and Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant Wednesday at a home, and Julissa Terry was taken into custody, a news release from the police department said.

During the search, detectives found a stolen gun loaded with 27 rounds of ammunition and a large amount of marijuana packaged for sale, according to police. Terry is a convicted felon who cannot legally possess a firearm, the release said.

Terry is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of an assault weapon, possession of a large capacity magazine, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal transfer of a firearm, improper storage of a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and risk of injury to a minor, according to police. The teen was charged with conspiracy and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

Terry, 46, was given a Sept. 6 court date and issued a $500,000 bond. The teen was sent to juvenile detention.
