Woman Linked with Former Stratford Pastor Accused of Harassing Victim's Lawyer

The woman that former Stratford Baptist church leader Dr. Robert Genevicz has said led him to a path of temptation during their 15-year relationship, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly harassing the lawyer representing one of the victims in the case against Genevicz, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports that Doraine Reed, 56, was charged with second-degree harassment for allegedly leaving several harassing messages for attorney Charles Kumay that left him concerned for his safety.
Reed is currently serving a 60-month prison sentence for harassing another law firm in Stratford, according to the Post.

Genevicz, who was fired by his church’s trustees in August, was arrested in March on charges of first-degree larceny for allegedly scamming a 71-year-old church member out of more than $173,000.

He was also served with a lawsuit by Cathy Devack, of Trumbull, who claimed that Genevicz defrauded her 88-year-old father of about $200,000.
Genevicz, 67, had his ordination removed by the American Baptist Churches of Connecticut in July.
