Woman Threatened To Shoot People At Sikorsky Airport

She has been charged with threatening and terrorist acts.

STRATFORD, CT — A Milford woman accused of threatening to commit a shooting at Sikorsky Memorial Airport has been arrested and charged. Laurie Ott called 911 at 12:40 p.m. Thursday and said she planned to go to the airport and begin shooting people, Bridgeport Public Information Officer Terron Jones stated in an email. Sikorsky Memorial Airport is located in Stratford but owned by the City of Bridgeport.

Police arrested Ott, 53, on Kirkside Avenue in Milford, Jones stated. She has been charged with threatening and terrorist acts.
