• Suffield Academy Welcomes 8 New Faculty Members (patch.com) — Suffield Academy is starting the 2026-27 year by welcoming eight new faculty and staff members, including head of school-elect Casey Bobo, who will assume leadership in 2027. Several returning alumni and educators will bolster academics, athletics, and student life, with new hires in science, math, administration, and football coaching all shaping the Suffield campus community.
• Denied 7-Home Suffield Plan Returns For New Hearing (patch.com) — A revised plan to build seven single-family homes on South Grand Street is back before Suffield's Conservation Commission, with a new public hearing set for Sept. 22. After an earlier version was denied over wetlands, drainage and septic concerns, commissioners will now review updated plans that could shape development and open space near a potential vernal pool and donated conservation land.
