‘Body Part’ Found In Connecticut River: Suffield Police
Emergency crews responded to a report of a body part found in the Connecticut River, according to police.
SUFFIELD, CT — Emergency crews responded to a report of a body part found in the Connecticut River on Thursday night. Fortunately, the body part turned out to be a plastic mannequin hand, according to Suffield police.
“This evening the Suffield Police, Suffield Volunteer Ambulance, and Suffield CT Fire Department responded to the Canal Rd. bike trail for a body part found in the Connecticut River,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “Due to the low water level, and strong current we were unable to get a boat close enough to recover it. With the help of the Suffield Public Works the Fire Department was able to retrieve a plastic mannequin hand from the bottom of the river.”
