Commissioner Sean M. Connolly, Man on a Mission for CT's Veterans

The first thing that strikes you when you meet Commissioner Connolly is his sense of intense integrity, commitment to duty and dedication

The first thing that strikes you when you meet Commissioner Connolly is his sense of intense integrity, commitment to duty and dedication to his mission to provide our State's veterans with the optimum resources when they return from their respective fields of service.

Commissioner Connolly is a lawyer, Army Reservist and Decorated Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom who recently gave up his Senior Defense Industry Post to accept Governor Malloy's appointment as Commissioner for CT's Veteran Affairs. Susan Regan, Host of CT Valley Views interviewed Commissioner Connolly at the Rocky Hill facility to ascertain the status of their programs as on a national basis the media has continuously highlighted the serious lack of ethics and morality in responding to the medical services so rightly deserved by our patriotic military men and women from all wars.

What was clearly evident during this show segment is that CT is far and away an exemplary model upon which national VA standards should be demanded by our Federal Government. The range of support facilities cover not only medical services, but include educational, financial, transition housing, recreational, career placement among a cornucopia of other resources.
