Where are we headed as people download eBooks by the thousands? What does the future look like for eBooks? What do YOU want out of your eReader and how can you get it? What are the options available to you- free downloads on the internet, Project Gutenberg (what is that?), $15 downloads, free downloads from your library (the newest releases)?
Mike McCabe, Director of Information Technology at the Foote School in New Haven, will be speaking about these topics at Kent Memorial Library on Tuesday, January 25th at 7 pm (snow date- Sat the 29th at 10:30). Mike will be giving an overview of the digital reading experience and then opening the floor for discussion on eBooks. There will be time after the talk for more detailed questions, e.g. how do I make this darned thing work?
As space is limited, please call the library at 860 668-3896 to register for the program.
