Learn about and experience the healing of the Tibetan Singing Bowls & Gongs with Marcey and Brian Hickey Thursday evening, Aug. 23 at 7 pm at Kent Memorial Library. Known as Himalayan Sound instruments, singing bowls were used in ceremonies and monasteries throughout Tibet. The bowls are made from seven different metals: gold, silver, mercury, tin, iron, lead and copper. The sound waves from the singing bowls heal and/or balance on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. This program is sponsored by The Friends of Kent Memorial Library.
