'In the Heights' Is Coming to Suffield

Suffield Academy is proud to present In the Heights, Dec. 11-13.

It’s a story of a community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood, where the windows are always open, the coffee is light, and the music from three generations can be heard throughout the neighborhood.

Washington Heights is a place full of hopes and dreams; a place where the people are looking for a change in scenery. The most significant conflict in this community is deciding which traditions to continue, and which ones to abandon. In the Heights has won multiple awards, including the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Choreography, Best Musical Score, and Best Orchestration.

The cast and crew of 40 students has been working extremely hard to put on a this show. We are putting the finishing touches on what promises to be a memorable Suffield production. Students, family members, alums, and friends are all encouraged to come out and see this contemporary show.

The show will be performed on Dec. 11, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the PAC.
