• Suffield Hemp Processor Wins Cannabis Zoning Fight At State Supreme Court (patch.com) — Suffield residents may notice a major shift in the long-running dispute over cannabis at 426 South Grand Street, where Lasa Extract LLC has processed hemp since 2019. The Connecticut Supreme Court unanimously upheld a lower court ruling that removes the town's zoning denial, finding Lasa's proposed cannabis micro-cultivation is essentially the same nonconforming use as its hemp operation, though the company must still secure a state cannabis license.
