Seeking Shop Volunteers

Second Chance Shop Suffield is seeking volunteers to help keep our shop running.

Shop volunteers at Second Chance Shop Suffield do everything to keep this entirely volunteer-run shop operating. A typical shift volunteering can include talking with customers, sorting donations, or operating the cash register. Each shift at the shop has at least two volunteers, and there is a great sense of camaraderie among the volunteers.

All proceeds from the shop benefit The Village for Families & Children (www.thevillage.org), and organization that works to help children and families overcome the challenges life throws at them. Last year the shop raised over $60,000 for The Village, and the shop volunteers are the ones who made this happen. Volunteers are also invited to various programs at The Village as well as social events with other shop volunteers.
