Gymnastics- Your child will “flip” over our fun gymnastics program taught by Heather Casinghinio, Michelle Mancinelli and Brian Casinghino. It is a great introductory program that teaches both boys and girls the basic skill of gymnastics. The program will be held in the Middle School Gym on Thursdays and Fridays-February 25, 26, March 3, 4, 10 from 5:45-7-7:45 p.m. for children in Grades 3-5. Registration deadline is on Thursday, February 18.

Babysitting 101- Is your child interested in Babysitting? We have the class that will help them prepare for safety. This is a great entry level class that teaches age-appropriate skills necessary to care for children of all ages using team babysitting, mother’s helper and individual babysitting concepts. The program will be held on Tuesday, February 16 from 9:00-1:00 p.m. at the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance. The program is for children ages 10-15. The registration deadline is on Tuesday, February 9.

Crafting Fun and Easter Egg Hunt- Your child should be ready for fun in this interactive crafting and egg hunt event planned! Participants will have a great afternoon while decorating of a variety of creative Easter Crafts and Edible treats. After creating decorative crafts, the children will then go on a challenging and toy/candy filled egg-hunt! The program is for children in Grades K-2 will be held on Monday, March 21 in the Spaulding School Cafeteria A and outside at the playscape (weather permitting) from 3:15-4:45 p.m. taught by Donna Carney-Bastrzycki. The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 8.

Egg-Citing Easter Baskets and Scavenger Hunt!- Does your child love to dye Easter Eggs and decorate baskets? If so, they will love this action packed afternoon. Participants will dye real Easter Eggs, decorate baskets and crafts and then go outside on an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt! The program is for children in Grades 1-5 on Wednesday, March 23 in the McAlister School Cafeteria and Playscape (weather permitting) from 3:15-5:00 p.m. and taught by Donna Carney-Bastrzycki. The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 15.

Who’s at fault for your Golf Swing?-FREE Community Lecture

Are you a golfer and want to learn more about common swing/body faults? This program will help teach you how to understand the elements of the “classic” golf swing and review current research of fitness and golf. This lecture is a must for all golfers to help reduce injuries while you are out having fun. The lecture will be held on Monday, March 7 from 7:30-8:15 p.m. at Integrated Rehabilitation Services and taught by Mike Bidwell. The Registration deadline is on Tuesday, March 1.
