Suffield Firefighters Quickly Put Out Apartment Fire
Eighteen residents were temporarily evacuated during an early-morning fire Tuesday on Harmon Drive.

SUFFIELD, CT — An overnight fire at a Suffield apartment complex temporarily displaced about 18 residents, Fire Chief Chuck Flynn said.
The fire was reported around 1:30 a.m. on Harmon Drive, at the corner of Mountain Road and Remington Street. The fire, which was determined by the fire marshal to be electrical in nature, was confined to Unit 52, Flynn said.
Neighboring residents were evacuated as a precaution, but all have returned to their apartments with the exception of the occupant of the unit where the fire originated, Flynn said.
