Suffield Obituary: George Gimmartino, Jr., 62

George J. Gimmartino, Jr., 62, of Windsor passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his home.

Born June 21, 1954 in Hartford, son of Beatrice (Audette) Levine of Suffield and the late George J. Gimmartino. He grew up in East Granby, lived in Suffield and Windsor. He was employed by a number of construction companies throughout his career.

He is survived by a son, Clifford Johnson and his wife Tracy of RI; a brother, Thomas Gimmartino and his wife Angela of OH, a sister, Karen Nicholas and her husband John of Suffield; a grandson, Gavin Johnson of RI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, 11 AM, at Sacred Heart Church, 446 Mountain Rd., Suffield. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Tariffville at the convenience of the family.
