Suffield Player Cashes In On Big CT Lottery Win

ENFIELD/SUFFIELD — A Suffield player and an Enfield store teamed up for a big Connecticut Lottery win over the past week.

The $10,000 ticket was claimed on Feb. 5. Marie Munsie of Suffield bought the ticket for the $100,000 Cashword 9 game at Stevie's Little Store in Enfield, CT Lottery officials said.

The only other big win in Hartford and Tolland counties over the past week was the result of one family's long-standing tradition of gifting scratch tickets at Christmas.

Last Friday, the winning ticketholders, Big Sky Revocable Trust, Christmas 2018 Revocable Trust, Christmas 2018 3 Revocable Trust of Bristol; and Christmas 2018 2 Revocable Trust of Plainville, stepped forward to claim their share of the prize—$750,000 each, before taxes.
