Applications are being accepted for seasonal employment opportunities for the summer of 2016. Positions, hours and schedules vary between June and August.

Salary ranges are dependent upon position and experience.
CAMP DIRECTORS NEEDED:
*Camp for children ages 3 through grade 2. 30 hours/week. Oversees and directs camp and counselors in a primarily indoor setting that includes arts and crafts, special themed events and group activities.
*Camp for children in grades 2-5. 35 hours/week. Oversees and directs camp and counselors in an outdoor camp setting that includes special events, swimming and small and large group activities.
*Camp for children in grades 6-8. 35 hours/week. Oversees and directs camp and counselor in an outdoor camp setting that includes special events, swimming, small and large group activities and local ropes course visits.
Camp dates: June 27-August 5, 2016, plus one week of pre-planning.

LIFEGUARDS
At Sunrise Day Camp program
Parks & Recreation Department

Are you interested in a rewarding job this summer? Now is the time to start planning! Start training now to become a certified Lifeguard or Water Safety Instructor. We are accepting applications for Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors for the summer season.
The Parks & Recreation Department is looking for qualified waterfront staff for our summer camp programs. Must have current Lifeguard and Waterfront Certifications or currently enrolled in these courses.
The Sunrise Day camp is an outdoor summer camp program held at Sunrise Park, Suffield. Lifeguards assist in teaching swimming lessons and guard at Whites Pond, which is part of Sunrise Park.
Program dates: June 27 – August 13, 2016
Babb’s Beach: Lifeguarding Only. Outdoor lake facility, located on Congamond Lake. (Tentative opening July 2016 through Labor Day).
