• CTDOT Plans for Rubber Chip Seal Treatment on Route 81 in Haddam (ct.gov) — Drivers in Haddam should expect major pavement preservation work on Route 81 starting in spring 2027, running from the Killingworth town line to Route 154. CTDOT plans rubber chip seal and some milling and overlay, all funded by the state. Residents are encouraged to share questions or concerns directly with the project engineer as designs wrap up this fall.
