ATM Stolen From Gas Station In Killingworth: Police
The thieves also tried to steal an ATM from a gas station in Haddam just a few minutes earlier, according to police.
HADDAM/KILLINGWORTH β An ATM was stolen from a gas station in Killingworth early Wednesday morning, just minutes after the thieves tried to steal an ATM from a gas station in Haddam, according to Connecticut State Police.
State troopers from Troop F in Westbrook responded to Mobil at 1016 Killingworth Rd. in Haddam around 2:30 a.m. on the report of an active glass break alarm, according to police. A few minutes later, additional troopers were dispatched for the report of another glass break alarm at a Shell gas station at 237 Route 81 in Killingworth, police said.
Police determined that the suspects tried to steal an ATM at the Mobil and successfully stole an ATM from the Shell. The suspect vehicle, which engaged troopers in a pursuit, was described as a dark blue Toyota Sedan with misuse plates CT REG AZ92032, according to police.

The vehicle is also believed to have been used in various gas station break-ins the same night in Rocky Hill, according to police.
Police said the suspects were wearing black ski masks.
