Question: Why did you start your business locally?

Answer: East Haddam is centrally located for all the farms and customers we serve. It is also my hometown, I started CTFFE in my basement and grew into the renovated barn that we now occupy.

Question: When people think of your business, what sets you apart from others? 

Answer: We are unique because our customers order what they want, when they want, no membership fees and it's delivered to their door. Products are available 52 weeks a year.

Question: What are you doing to attract and retain your customers during the economic recession? 

Answer: We are offering free delivery to any customer that refers us to a friend and they place an order with us. We continue to search out and sign up new and interesting vendors throughout the year.

Question: What's the most important ingredient to your success? 

Answer: We have great customer service and support many CT farms and artisans.

Question: Where would you like your business to be in five years? 

Answer: Delivering to over 100 homes and businesses in CT.
