This is the first time in nearly 30 years, according to Bogue, that there has been a restaurant located at Banner Country Club. In addition to serving lunch and dinner, Boque hopes to include breakfast, wine dinners, beer crafting classes and live music on the deck in the future.

Going into business for yourself is incredibly hard. What made you take the leap? My passion and drive to educate and feed people amazing creations sourced from local farms.
How long did it take to go from idea to first customer? It took me about a year and a half.
What do you find the most rewarding about what you do? The biggest reward is to overhear people saying how tasty and amazing my food is.
What's the biggest challenge you face in your business today? Getting people in my door; I am out of the way and have no signs yet- it has all been word of mouth.
What's your best advice for someone looking to start his or her own business? Do your homework, do your homework, do your homework...between permits and regulations, they all vary from town to town.
What's the most important ingredient to your success? Hard work and a deep respect for food- where it comes from and the people who grow or raise it.
Where would you like your business to be in five years? In five years, I would like to see Jack's Place as the go-to spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
