East Haddam Board of Education to Move Forward with Feasibility Study
The review and selection committee voted unanimously to award the elementary school study to Kaestle-Boos & Associates for a base bid of $23,500.

After considerable time and effort, the East Haddam Board of Education will move forward with the Elementary School Feasibility/Integrity study. In late September, the Board of Education established a review and selection committee to examine the bids from numerous Connecticut architectural firms. After narrowing the field to just four firms, the committee reviewed lengthy proposal documents and then interviewed each of the four candidate firms.
At their final meeting, the review and selection committee voted unanimously to award the Elementary School study to Kaestle-Boos & Associates for a base bid of $23,500. The total Capital Needs allocation for the Elementary School Feasibility study is $50,000.00. It is anticipated that the total cost of the study will come in well below the total allocation. Work on the study is expected to begin after January 1, 2012.
