Election 2016 Results: The Haddams-Killingworth Vote Totals for President, U.S. Senate and Local Races

On Wednesday morning, full election results and numbers were released for all races that residents voted on.

On Election Night, 51.52 percent of Haddam residents preferred Donald Trump over Hilary Clinton, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein.

According to the CT Secretary of State election center updated via 10 a.m. Wednesday, 2,141 Haddam residents voted for Clinton and 2,556 voted for Trump. Johnson additionally received 171 votes, while Stein received 93.

In East Haddam, 2,331 residents voted for Clinton and 2,487 voted for Trump, while 164 residents voted for Johnson and 95 voted for Stein. In Killingworth, 1,895 residents voted for Clinton and 1,943 voted for Trump, while 119 voted for Johnson and 55 voted for Stein.

In the race for U.S. Senate, Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., amassed 2,625 votes in Haddam on multiple lines. He received 2,794 votes in East Haddam and 2,248 in Killingworth across multiple lines.

Republican candidate Dan Carter meanwhile received 2,151 votes in Haddam, 2,017 in East Haddam and 1,634 in Killingworth.

Democrat Joe Courtney crushed Republican candidate Daria Novak in the 2nd Congressional District race, with Courtney earning 2,633 votes in Haddam, 2,825 in East Haddam and 2,133 in Killingworth on multiple lines. Novak amassed 2,064 votes in Haddam, 1,936 in East Haddam and 1,649 in Killingworth.

Republican candidate Art Linares beat out Democratic candidate Norm Needleman and Green Party candidate Colin D. Bennett in the 33rd Senatorial District race. Linares garnered 3,004 votes across multiple lines in Haddam and 2,913 in East Haddam. Needleman amassed 1,785 votes in Haddam and 1,929 in East Haddam.

In Killingworth, Democratic State Senator Edward Kennedy Jr. defeated his Republican challenger Bruce Wilson Jr. in the race for 12th Senatorial District. Kennedy Jr. garnered 2,023 votes on multiple lines, while Wilson Jr. received 1,849 votes.

Republican candidate Melissa Ziobron ran unopposed in the 34th State House District, receiving 4,104 votes in East Haddam across multiple lines in the process.

In the 35th State House District, Republican Jesse MacLachlan won out over Democrat Ellen Dahlgren. In Killingworth, MacLachlan received 2,301 votes on multiple lines and Dahlgren received 1,491 votes.

In the 36th State House District, unofficial numbers indicate Republican Robert Siegrist III won out against two-term incumbent Democrat Philip Miller in a tight race. In Haddam, Siegrist received 2,937 votes and Miller received 1,883 votes.

In Haddam, Democrat Saralyn Twomey received 2,106 votes and Republican Raymond Skarsten received 2,535 votes for registrar of voters.

In East Haddam, Democrat Martha C. Hansen received 2,164 votes and Republican Lucy R. Yacovino received 2,508 votes for registrar of voters.

In Killingworth, Democrat Elizabeth W. Dennis received 1,671 votes and Republican Lauren Blahareceived 2,103 votes for registrar of voters.
