Call Today to Enroll 3 Year Olds in Peer Role Model Program

The East Haddam Public Schools Preschool special education program is now taking applications for the September enrollment of non-disabled children age 3. Children accepted into the program will be peer models for children who have disabilities and/or developmental delays.

To be considered as peer models for the program, children must be toilet trained and exhibit age-appropriate language, behavior and play skills.  Children who will be 3 by September 1 will be considered for the morning program.

An appointment for a development screening and interview will be scheduled in the spring. All children need to follow this process before being considered for the preschool program.

Eligible children will be chosen by the lottery method.  Deadline for contacting the above named person is March 18, 2011.
