What is a Community Conversation?
A Community Conversation brings together a diverse group of members of the community, who have a stake in the future of their town, to explore an important topic.
Results of Last Year’s Community Conversation-
- Establishment of a Family Resource Center for young children and families
- East Haddam Parks and Recreation built a new playground for young children at Nichols Field
- Creation of the East Haddam Family Resource Guide
- Summer reading program for very young children in concert with East Haddam Free Public Library
Why should you attend this year’s Conversation?
It’s important that everyone- including individuals without young children – participate. This process is about individuals in East Haddam expressing their views and bringing their unique perspectives to the conversation. This is an opportunity for you to help guide the future of East Haddam.
