Free Wiggle Wednesday Interactive Music and Dance Event for Children

The Dance Corner of Killingworth is pleased to announce a free event for children and caregivers. Join us for Wiggle Wednesday, February 8th, 10:30-11:00am, an interactive story time. Children will dance, play, explore and learn. Children who are walking through age 5 are invited to participate in this free event with a parent or caregiver. The Dance Corner will offer a free Wiggle Wednesday event monthly.

The Dance Corner is also offering two new sessions of their popular Baby Dance With Me class starting in February. This 1/2 hour movement and music class is designed for little movers 14 months to 2 years and a caregiver. Little movers must be walking.

The 'Baby Dance with Me' class is the perfect introduction to music and movement for the very young child not ready to separate but ready to explore in a nurturing learning environment. The basic elements of dance are introduced in a positive and loving way using props such as scarves, stuffed animals and musical instruments. Caregivers (in comfortable clothing) and children participate together throughout the class.

We are offering two class choices- Wednesdays, 2/15- 3/8 from 10:15- 10:45am or Saturdays, 2/25-3/18 from 10:20-10:50am. The fee is $20 for a four class session. Class size is limited so sign up today! Register online at TheDanceCorner.com, or call 860-663-3738 for more information.

The Dance Corner welcomes students of any age or level to take a free trial dance class. The studio is currently accepting Spring minimester and mini-camp registrations as well as Summer class and camp registrations. It is never too late to register for class.
