The Haddams-Killingworth Election 2016 Results: Winners Revealed in Local Races

Results are coming in for a number of electoral races across the board in the Haddams and Killingworth, both on a local and national scale.
On the ballot, registered voters in Haddam, East Haddam and Killingworth were able to select candidates for president and vice president, United States senator, representatives to U.S. Congress, state senator, state representative and registrar of voters.
In Haddam and East Haddam, Republican candidate Art Linares beat out Democratic candidate Norm Needleman and Green Party candidate Colin D. Bennett in the 33rd Senatorial District race, as reported by the Norwich Bulletin.

In Killingworth, Democratic State Senator Edward Kennedy Jr. defeated his Republican challenger Bruce Wilson Jr. in the race for 12th Senatorial District, the New Haven Register reported.
In the 35th State House District, Republican Jesse MacLachlan won out over Democrat Ellen Dahlgren, as reported by the Middletown Press. It will be MacLachlan's second term in the state legislature.

In the 36th State House District, unofficial numbers indicate Republican Robert Siegrist III won out against two-term incumbent Democrat Philip Miller in an extremely tight race, as reported by the Shoreline Times.
In the 34th State House District, Republican Melissa Ziobron ran unopposed.
The registrar of voters in East Haddam is between Democrat Martha Hansen and Republican Lucy Yacovino. The registrar of voters in Killingworth is between Democrat Elizabeth Dennis and Republican Lauren Blaha.
