Hamilton Themed Musical Theater Workshop Offered
Fun music, theater and dance 5-week workshop based on the hit show Hamilton offered for kids at The Dance Corner of Killingworth .
The Dance Corner of Killingworth is pleased to announce a musical theater workshop for children ages 9 and up. Hamilton: Dance Revolution is 5-week dance workshop, consisting of an hour long class where students will explore the history, design, music, and movement behind the hit Broadway musical Hamilton.
The workshop will cover many aspects of the musical including: the life of Lin Manuel Miranda and Alexander Hamilton, how the show came to Broadway, who were the Ladies of Hamilton and what did they contribute as well as what elements of hip hop culture and music have been infused into the music and movement of the show.
Each week, students will learn dance routines to songs from the musical, culminating in a performance to one of Hamilton's hits for family and friends during the final class. This workshop is perfect for any lover of Hamilton or musical theatre enthusiast who loves to move. No prior dance experience is necessary.
