He is facing a criminal charge.

SOUTHiNGTON, CT — For the second time in nine days, Southington police have arrested someone for forgetting about a gun.
The latest caper was just after 1 p.m. on Friday when a staffer at the Days Inn at 30 Laning St. contacted the Southington Police Department and reported that a guest left a gun in one of the hotel rooms.

Police said that Brian Rosadini, 22, of Higganum, checked out of his hotel room at about 12:30 p.m. and the Days Inn cleaning staff entered the room to clean it.
While cleaning the room, staffers located a 9mm handgun secured inside a holster in the night table drawer, police said.

The magazine was loaded, but there was no round in the chamber, police said.
A records check revealed the handgun was a legally registered to Rosadini, and Rosadini holds a valid Connecticut pistol permit, police said.
Telephone contact was made with Rosadini and he came to police headquarters and was issued a misdemeanor summons for second-degree reckless endangerment, police said. He is scheduled to appear at Bristol Superior Court on Oct. 31.
The handgun and the state pistol permit were both seized, police said.
On Oct 12, police arrested a man for leaving a gun on a popular walking trail.
