Whiz Kid's key to awesomeness: Talent, hard work and motivation. Allegra reports that she began loving singing at age 7. She has been taking dance and theater classes at Stage Left in Middletown for 8 years. She currently sings in her church choir at St. Peter’s church and was an orphan in the Bushnell production of Annie last summer. She credits her elementary school music teacher, Mrs. Mortensen at Haddam Elementary School, with “really helping me a lot and encouraging me to do a lot of things in music.”
Allegra and the rest of the HK Players performed last weekend, April 29th and 30th, at HKHS.
