I am interested in establishing an animal sanctuary in Johnsonville. Not only would my plans preserve the historic nature of this property, it will be used to rehab, and provide adoption opportunities for all animals.
My vision is beyond just adoption, I would like to see literacy camps developed, weddings with upscale catering options, animal day care and perhaps therapeutic riding centers. I do not live in the immediate area but I do live in Connecticut. I am interested in what people local to the area think of this idea. I will be talking to zoning and am looking for investors. I have already spoken to the realtor. Please let me know what you think.
